Natural Resource Management

RCF has been working with the local community in the Crater Mountains Wildlife Management Area strengthening rural livelihoods through natural resource management activities. The organization facilitates these activities to promote sustainable use of resources.  Land boundary mapping is done in collaboration with landowners. This is followed by land use plans to promote better management of their re
sources in order to maintain the rich biodiversity on their land.  

The organization facilitates rural livelihoods activities with the aim of achieving biodiversity conservation . Activities implemented include:

 4. Organic Coffee 

5. Organic vanilla

6. Eco-tourism 

7. Sale of local artifacts  
The activities encourage local people in the WMA to engage in environmental friendly economic activities .
